Most Calendar Sync issues can easily be resolved by you. Simply follow the steps in this article to help fix your issue.

All of the ways to fix Calendar Sync issues can be found under “Set Up Calendar Sync”. 



Depending on what error you are facing, there are different steps you can follow. 


If appointments from your personal calendar don’t sync into 10to8:


  1. Make sure that you have ticked the box next to “Sync [Calendar Provider] appointments into 10to8”, and that the “Sync all appointment information” box is selected. 

  2. If any errors appear in the “status” box, Make sure to dismiss them. More info on them can be found under the “If you are seeing a ‘There was an error syncing your calendar’ message” section of this guide. 

  3.  Refresh your Calendar using the “Refresh Calendar” option, found in the “Calendar Sync Settings” section. 




If 10to8 appointments don’t sync into your personal calendar


  1. Make sure you have ticked the box next to “Sync 10to8 appointments into [Calendar Provider]”.

  2. If any errors appear in the “status” box, Make sure to dismiss them. More info on them can be found under the “If you are seeing a ‘There was an error syncing your calendar’ message” section of this guide. 

  3. Refresh your Calendar using the “Refresh Calendar” option, found in the “Calendar Sync Settings” section. 



If you are seeing a “There was an error syncing your calendar” message



Most errors can be fixed by dismissing them. Click the link provided and wait a few minutes. If the error reappears please contact us. 



If your calendar has been unlinked


If your calendar has been unlinked, simply do the following to reconnect and sync your calendar(s).

  1. Click the “Activate calendar sync for more calendar providers” button, found under  “Calendar Sync Settings”.




  1. Select your calendar provider, from the options provided by Cronofy. 

  1. Once you’ve connected your calendar to 10to8, Simply tick the boxes for “Sync 10to8 appointments into [provider]” and “Sync [provider] appointments into 10to8”, as well as the option for “Sync all appointment information”. 

  2. 10to8 should now resync. This may take a few minutes. Once this is done, your calendars should successfully be resynced.

How to remove sync completely from 10to8


With 10to8 you have the ability to remove sync from either an individual calendar provider, or all your providers. 


How to remove ONE Calendar from your 10to8 account

    

To remove an individual calendar from your 10to8 account, simply click the “X” button next to the calendar you wish to remove, as shown in the image below.


Clicking this will bring up a warning box, asking if you wish to remove that email from the calendar sync. Simply click OK to remove it from your calendar. 


To add a new calendar simply follow the steps from the “If your calendar has been unlinked” section of this guide.


How to remove ALL calendars from your 10to8 calendar


If you wish to disconnect all calendars from your 10to8 account, simply click the “Disconnect all of your calendars” button. This can be found under “Set Up > Calendar Sync”, on your 10to8 account.


Upon clicking the button, it should disconnect all calendars from your account.
