Setting up your calendar sync can be useful in many ways, and it is easy. To get started go to "Set Up" > "Calendar Sync" and click on "Activate calendar sync".
Now follow the steps on the screen to connect your iCal, Exchange, Office 365, Outlook.com or Google Calendar.
As soon as you connected the first calendar, you can also connect further calendars you want to sync with. This can be done via the "Activate calendar sync for more calendar providers" button.
As soon as you connected all your calendar, you will need to pick which calendars should sync into 10to8 and which calendars you want to sync to. Under "Configure Calendar Sync" you will be able to see all the calendars you have in your different accounts.
Syncing into 10to8
To sync into 10to8, tick the "Sync <calendar provider name> appointments into 10to8" under the calendar you want to sync. You now also get the option to pick if you want to sync busy times or all appointment information.
"Sync busy times only" means that 10to8 will sync appointments, into 10to8, as busy times with no other information.
"Sync all appointments information" means that 10to8 will sync the name of the appointment as well as any notes into 10to8.
Syncing into your calendar
To sync out of 10to8, tick the "Sync 10to8 appointments into <calendar provider name>" under the calendar you want to sync appointments into. You can now pick if to sync everyone's appointments or if just to sync your own 10to8 appointments.
"Only sync my appointments" means that you will only sync your 10to8 appointments into the selected calendar.
"Sync everyone's appointments" means that you will sync your own and all your colleague's appointments into the selected calendar.
